KING ARTHUR, JIVE CORPORATE SURF BIKER
BY W. TOWN ANDREWS

The once and future king, the heroic and romantic Arthur Rex has finally returned—in a future century that, who knows, may be a return of a distant, mixed-tech past. But this Arthur toddles out of the fiery surf riding a rough oak longboard slab, into Merlin’s arms…and joins Sir Ector’s family of Harley riders, wearing club colors stitched with ancient runes and skull-and-bone patches—of questionable HR compliance.

Pulling the stand-up paddle out of the ancient Triumph engine block, (later romanticized as The Oar in the Stone) he becomes the founder, CEO, and occasionally bewildered spiritual mascot of a corporate-biker surf empire nobody asked for but everyone seems to fear.

Camelot, once a beacon of chivalry, has become Clamlot, a beachfront headquarters where board meetings are held around a bloated, overburdened Rotund Table—an artifact sagging under the weight of feasts, feet, and the questionable decisions of errant knights who quest upon Harleyback and joust with stand-up paddles and wallet-chain grapples.

Description

King Arthur, the once and future knight, hero, battle commander, swordsman, statesman, rides again… On a Harley?

In King Arthur, Jive Corporate Surf Biker,  Arthurian legend collides with modern absurdity — a mythic surf‑biker odyssey through boardrooms, breakwaters, and the eternal quest for meaning. Knights become one-percenters, knaves become dudes, Merlin rides a SuperCub, a standing paddle is embedded in an ancient shovelhead twin, and the Grail gleams quietly alongside the corner office water cooler.

This surreal pseudolegend of the corporate age blends satire, adventure, and pop‑mythology into a story that’s equal parts heroic and hilarious. It’s a ride through the strange magic still humming beneath modern life — where destiny wears a necktie and the Round Table runs on whammy-driven Fenders played through blown Vocalmaster columns.
